According to his family, O.J. Simpson, the former NFL player who was cleared of killing his ex-wife and her friend in a nationally watched televised trial, passed away from cancer. He was seventy-six.
In February, rumors spread that Simpson was receiving chemotherapy and was in hospice care due to a prostate cancer diagnosis. In a video that was uploaded on X, he denied being in hospice care, although he omitted any mention of receiving a cancer diagnosis.
The family released a statement on his passing on X (formerly known as Twitter)
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.

He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Caitlyn Jenner a former Olympian was previously wed to Kris Jenner, the late American lawyer Rob Kardashian Sr.’s ex-wife, who was a prominent member of Simpson’s defense team shook everyone with a post on X following the announcement of his passing.
