Nigerian politician collapsed and passed away after Bafana Bafana’s first penalty.
Popular politician Dr. Cairo Ojuogboh, a prominent APC (All Progressives Congress) member in Delta State, is said to have passed out while watching the Super Eagles of Nigeria versus Bafana Bafana of South Africa play in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
Ojuogboh reportedly passed out during the penalty shootout, and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful, according to the Independent Newspaper of Nigeria.
After a VAR-heavy semifinal match against South Africa, Nigeria prevailed 4-2 on penalties to book their place in the eighth Africa Cup of Nations final.
