Vertex Events is reportedly suing Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla ‘Lux’ Dlamini for close to R700 000 for marketing his aviation company.
The events company has reportedly filed papers in the Johannesburg High Court claiming payment from Dlamini and his company, Native Airways, for advertising his aviation company during a June 2015 event.
According to a report in the Sunday World, Dlamini’s company was promoted by the Johannesburg events company at a Youth Day event seven years ago.
After he failed to honor their agreement, Vertex Events filed papers in the Johannesburg High Court.

They reportedly required him to pay within 30 days of the invoice being issued after promoting his aviation company Native Airways at a June 16 event in 2015.
According to Sunday World, the papers by Vertex Event lawyers Bazuka and Company stated:
“On or about 28 May 2015, Vertex Events, represented by its director Thato Noel Segaole and Native Airways, represented by Lux, who was then known as Nhlanhla Paballo Mohlauli, entered into an oral agreement to pay more than R697 000 plus 14% VAT to Vertex Events as a sponsorship fee to organise the 2015 Youth Day celebration.
“Native Airways has to date failed to pay the sponsorship fee of R697 942.20 to Vertex Events in accordance with the agreement.”
