Nhlanhla Lux has hit back at the EFF’s Commander-In-Chief, calling Malema’s planned National Shutdown a joke that will never get off the ground.
The former Operation Dudula leader shared his views about the National Shutdown which is happening under the EFF’s banner on 20 March.
According to Lux, the EFF leader chose the 20 March because it’s the day before Human Rights Day which is a public holiday.
Lux says most people were going to take the Monday off anyway to have a long weekend, and that’s not an indication of the power that Malema has over the people of the country.
“20 March is a Monday, and the next day is a public holiday, it’s Human Rights Day. So, he’s trying to piggy back on the fact that the holiday’s on Tuesday, most South Africans have taken leave so that they have an extended long weekend.
Now, here’s Malema taking that energy and making it his own energy. It will never work, because if you were a real leader like he claims to be, Julius would have chosen a real date, free of anything, to show us the power he claims to have.
If you were really the leader of society, you would have been voted President. So, I think Julius must stop drinking before he addresses the public.”

Lux says if Julius Malema and his supporters step out of the boundaries of the law on Monday, he will be there on the frontlines to personally arrest the EFF leader.
Nhlanhla Lux left Operation Dudula last year to focus on Soweto Parliament which focuses on getting all illegal immigrants out of the country.
