Members of Parliament vote against the section 89 report.
On Tuesday, Parliament debated the section 89 report that found President Cyril Ramaphosa may have violated the Constitution.
The section 89 report on Phala Phala has been defeated.
The ANC others voted no & notched 214 votes. Those who voted yes which includes EFF, DA, ATM, IFP and UDM, notched 148 votes. 5 MPs abstained.

Only 4 ANC MPs defied their party and voted yes to the adoption of the section 89 report on Phala Phala. Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma opened began the vote against the party line.

The final vote on #PhalaPhalareport was as follows
Yes – 148
No – 214
Abstain – 2
The Impeachment Committee will not be established.
The s89 process has officially been closed.
In other news, The elective conference begins on December 15 at Nasrec and is anticipated to end on December 19 (Monday).
Along with a president who is likely to seek reelection to a second term, the ANC’s senior leadership will be chosen.
