Limpopo police have launched a manhunt after the bodies of two women were found at a farm in Sebayeng, just outside Mankweng.
A man was also hospitalized following the shooting incident at the farm.
This after police were alerted that a 45-year-old South African woman went missing after visiting the farm on Saturday, 17 August.
A search of the farm revealed the body of the missing woman and another body of a 35-year-old foreign national woman which was found in an advanced stage of decomposition.
Both women sustained gunshot wounds and were with a 47-year-old foreign national male who was shot and is currently hospitalized.
The motive for the incident is unknown, and two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder have been registered. The identity of the deceased will be released in due course.
Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has instructed the investigating team to apprehend the suspects involved in this heinous crime.
