An Anonymous listener shares that she started cheating on her husband more than three years ago. She stopped for a while and recently got back to her bad ways.
She acknowledges that her husband is a good man who is always there for her and their children. Despite trying to be faithful, she admits that she misses the excitement of cheating. Seeking advice from other Best T in the City listeners, she wonders if there are any blind spots she may be overlooking.
“I can’t seem to stop cheating on my husband. I have been married since
2018 and I started cheating in 2020. I love my husband. He is very respectful, and reserved, makes sure all the bills are paid, helps around the house, and is very available for me and the kids.“He also doesn’t drink, he doesn’t go out, and this has been the issue for us. I happen to drink and enjoy a good social life. I started cheating with my colleague. After a few months, I called it off but I missed the thrill of it and to date, I’ve cheated with 3 guys.
“My husband is vocal about my drinking and constant going out. He doesn’t mind, but he feels I do it too much. To be honest, there is just something so fun and thrilling about being with bad boys. I want to stop cheating but I won’t lie, I also enjoy it.
“My husband is a good man, and I don’t want to lose him; however, I am enjoying being a bad girl. A few days ago, there was a topic asking if a person can change, and I am wondering if I will ever get over this phase in my life. What could be my blind spot?”
