Patriotic Alliance (PA) Deputy President, Kenny Kunene ripped into the Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng leader, Solly Msimanga calling him corrupt and a “f**ken piece of s**t.”
Kunene who shared a video tirade lashing out at Msimanga on Sunday, 16 May, told Kaya News that he will not withdraw his comments against Msimanga.
Apart from hurling expletives at Msimanga, Kunene called the DA member a “Gupta”, saying the politician was “captured.”
Kunene’s rant was a response to Msimanga who, according to the PA’s second-in-charge insulted the party.
“This is not the first time that Solly Msimanga insulted the Patriotic Alliance. It is not the first you called us ‘rent seekers’, calling us Judases.
Telling us we have no options. Solly Msimanga you can never put us in a corner sonny, we operate in a rondavel. But as for you Solly Msimanga, when you were the mayor of Tshwane, you were captured by Simbi Phiri. You gave Phiri work, and in one of those services he was doing, a child died and nothing was done about it.
You even took your wife and went to Malawi to attend the wedding of the son of Simbi Phiri. Who paid for that trip? Who paid for those flights?”

Phiri is a Malawian businessman who, according to Kunene obtained work while Msimanga was mayor of Tshwane from 2016 to 2019.
Kunene also made reference to Msimanga’s 2021 scandal, when the politician was beaten up for allegedly owing an unidentified businessman R1.4 million.
Meanwhile, Solly Msimanga refuted claims of corruption levelled against him by Kunene, saying the utterances were unfounded.
Joburg transport MMC & PA councilor Kenny Kunene has defended his utterances against the DA's Solly Msimanga.
