Incomplete 2025 learner applications for Grade 1 and Grade 8 placements is a cause for concern for the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE).
MEC for Education, Sport, Arts, Culture & Recreation Matome Chiloane urged parents to ensure their online applications are complete in order to secure their children a place in public schools for the 2025 academic year.
“We strongly urge parents to complete the entire application process. Incomplete applications mean that your child’s placement cannot be guaranteed. Please double check your profile on the system or reach out to the Department for further assistance.”
