EFF Leader Julius Malema visited the Gardee family after the tragic passing of Hillary Gardee.
Hillary Gardee, the daughter of attorney and former EFF secretary-general Godrich Gardee, was murdered, and the EFF is determined to locate those guilty.

Outside the Gardee family house, EFF leader Julius Malema addressed a press conference, where he said ‘“We have committed to the family to find these killers, and we have committed to Bheki Cele’s words that he must find them before we find them.
“If we find them before him, we will not give you any guarantee as to what is going to happen …” said Julius Malema.

Malema also stated that there seems not to be any political influence related to the killings and that the party has deployed resources to find the killers.
“We have deployed all manner of resources on the ground to look for these criminals. The report we have is that we can rest assured that it is not a mission that comes from outside. It is a mission that comes internally. Therefore, we have no reason to be looking over the borders as to who could have done this,” said Malema
The body of the 28-year-old was discovered on Tuesday. She hadn’t been seen since Friday.
