Acting Judge Melissa Jordaan determined that Magudumana was the primary facilitator of convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester’s escape from the Mangaung Correctional Centre and that the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court was right to deny her bail.
Delivering her judgement the judge said that Magudumana’s arrest in another country without her passport being stamped makes her a flight risk.
