Nambitha Mpumlwana is appealing for help after a thief stole a ring that means a lot to her.
The actress took to Facebook to reveal that the ring was stolen a month ago.
“I wore that ring every single day,” she wrote. Nambitha says she can’t even begin to describe how much the piece of jewellery means to her.
She says the ring has a special connection to her late grandmother. The ring was engraved with the words, “Women in My Life’. It was the title of a poem Nambitha wrote for her grandmother.
Nambitha wrote the poem years while she was working in Canada.
“I was missing her and I had to write down what it is that I miss about her. I realized that I was becoming the woman that she saw me become.
“So I sat down and I wrote about the woman that I saw in her – the woman that was in my life. I titled the poem, Women In My Life and I sent it to her. I said “Mama I wrote this for you” she read it and she then made the decision that this poem should be read at her funeral,” she tweeted.

The actress says it hurts that someone would steal her ring when they have no idea what it means to her.
“This ring is more than a piece of mental, more than the pearls encrusted on it, more than the writing on it. It is my spirit, it is my guide, my link to my grand diva!”
