South African House music fans should be delighted to find out that singer/songwriter Bucie Nkomo is back in the studio working on new music.
Bucie shared a video from her studio session with Black Motion with the caption, “Thoroughly enjoyed last night’s studio session with my people #Something’s Brewing.”
This comes amid reports that the singer is on the verge of losing her Johannesburg home due to non-payments.
City Press reports that Nkomo had a financial dispute with a bank following her alleged “failure to honour a bond installment worth more than R1 million.”
“The defendant failed to comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement by failing to make monthly installments as contemplated,” the court papers read as quoted by the paper.
The singer is yet to publicly address these allegations.
Bucie is popular for the songs Superman with DJ Black Coffee and Easy To Love with Heavy K. She has been away from the limelight in recent years to focus on motherhood and marriage.
