Nasty C has confirmed the release of his new album, I Love It Here after previously moving the release date.
The 26-year-old rapper revealed on Wednesday morning that his new body of work will drop in exactly nine days.
On the album cover, Nasty C is seen sitting beside his girlfriend, Sammy Havens, and their newborn baby. This could symbolize the current stage of the rapper’s life. As someone who rose to stardom in his teens and spent most of his earlier years on the road, Nasty C could be turning over a new leaf.
During the press briefing of his African Throne World Tour alongside Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C opened up about adjusting to fatherhood.
“I’ve always taken it seriously, but I’ve always put fun in the forefront. I’ve always been the type of guy to say, Once this thing stops being fun, I’m going to stop doing it. Now it’s not like that any more. I’m trying to make music that will last forever, more than ever. I want to leave something behind that he’s going to be very proud of,” expressed the rapper, who also opened up about his mental health.
“I’ve been taking far better care of myself. Mentally, emotionally, and physically. There’s a lot of undoing just from the way I was raised so that when he looks at me and absorbs the things I say and do, he takes all the right stuff,” said Nasty C.
