Local rapper Nadia Nakai has publicly apologized for calling out DJ Milkshake for his song selection. In a deleted post, Nadia called out Milkshake for playing outdated music, despite her and other hip-hop artists constantly dropping new songs.
It appears Nadia has had a change of heart after taking to Twitter to apologize for calling out Milkshake. “The reason I did that was because I was with him while he was playing at Members when I asked him, like I always do,” she explained.
Despite her apology, Nadia remains steadfast in her stance. She stated, “If I hurt you, I’m sorry, bro! But it still doesn’t change the fact that I’m not hearing new hip-hop drops, and I’m not,” she said.
the only one that feels that way… I’m not hearing Dee’s new joint, 018, even if you wanna go international I don’t hear F!EN in the club either. I love hip hop man. Shake is bro tho, I got to familiar shouldnt have blasted him on the gram like that. 🙏🏾 https://t.co/oEX0PfLQuS

Nadia’s lambast of DJ Milkshake comes just weeks after she made a return to music with her new single, Back In. The powerful track aims to inspire and captivate Nadia’s fans, showcasing her indomitable spirit and musical prowess.
“It’s a song I think people would like to hear in the clubs. The reason why the song is called Back In, is because I had to take some time off music, and slowed down a bit, and not I’m back in, I’m back in the game, back in the swing of things.
Working and getting my bag and focusing on the things that I want in life. It’s a song to motivate people who have experienced a speedbump on their journey, something that derails their plans and they choose to take a step back, recuperate and to readjust and think before they come Back In.”
