South African rapper Nadia Nakai and Ghanaian-American musician Fantana have dropped hints about teaming up as a DJ duo.
Nadia recently shared some snapshots from a recent photoshoot featuring her and Fantana. She playfully asked her followers to guess what their new DJ duo’s name could be. Fantana also took to social media to post the same message.
The two artists first crossed paths on the second season of the reality show Young, Famous, and African.
Fantana is a Ghanaian-American originally from Atlanta, USA, who later moved to Accra, Ghana, where she now focuses on her music.
Nadia Nakai dedicates forthcoming album to AKA
Nadia Nakai recently announced that she’s currently working on a tribute album. Initially, Nadia had planned to release an EP as a tribute to AKA. However, as she poured her heart and soul into the project, it evolved into a full-fledged album.
Nadia revealed that she’s currently on a healing journey, and this project is a letter to AKA.
Acknowledging the overwhelming support, Nadia extended gratitude to all contributors involved in this deeply personal and spiritual project.
