Ami Faku featured on album paying homage to Bob Marley.
South African artist Ami Faku has joined some of the best musicians from Africa who are featured on the ten-track masterpiece, offering their own special flair and artistry while paying homage to Bob Marley’s ongoing legacy.
Bob Marley’s legacy lives on with “Africa Unite,” bridging the gap between the past and present.
The album celebrates the rich tapestry of African rhythms and melodies by fusing the soulful vibrations of reggae with the contagious energy of Afrobeats, in addition to demonstrating the universal appeal of Bob Marley’s music.

Ami Faku took to social media to revealed that she features on the posthumous album. “Africa Unite is OUT NOW.
‘This wonderful project that pays homage to @bobmarley ’s greatest hits. Thank you once again to those involved in this project,” wrote Faku
Other artists featured on the album include Rema (Nigeria), Ayra Starr (Nigeria), Patoranking Nigeria),Nutty O (Zimbabwe), Winky D (Zimbabwe), Stonebwoy (Ghana), and Afro B (Ivory Coast). Skip Marley, Bob Marley’s grandson, is the album’s other guest.
Bob Marley’s daughter Cedella Marley spoke about the genesis of the project and it’s importance in upholding the legendary artist’s legacy.
“Africa Unite is an album that showcases the importance of Bob Marley in modern day Africa. The artists that feature on this album have reimagined Bob Marley’s classics in a way we know he would have loved and been proud of.”
