South African singer-songwriter Lloyiso is set to release his most personal project to date, the EP ‘Never Thought I Could,’ on 24 October.
The EP is described as a deeply honest exploration of growth, heartbreak, and reinvention. The Kariega-born star recently gave fans an exclusive preview of the project at a launch event held under the stars at Kromdraai Impact Hub.
The evening, staged in partnership with Stella Artois, offered a blend of music, elevated style, and culture, featuring a curated menu by chef Noni Masombuka and a fashion-forward guest list.
In the lead-up to the EP, Lloyiso debuted his poignant new single, ‘Scary,’ releasing the track and its official music video on Friday.
The ‘Seasons’ singer co-wrote ‘Scary’ with Paul E. Phamous, Ethan Schneiderman, and The Imports.
He described the song as a vulnerable piece about letting go, acknowledging the emotional toll of its creation.
“The journey of ‘Scary’ started on the 12th of April 2023 and it has been one of the most beautiful and painful parts of my growing life,” he stated.
