Actress Mona Monyane says she has rediscovered real love.
The actress, who separated from her ex-husband Khulu Skejana in 2020, took to social media to talk about what real love means to her.
“Real love doesn’t strive to ‘humble’ you or ‘put you in your place’,” she wrote on Instagram.
She says true love enhances you.
“Real love, elevates you to heights unimagined, it reassures you and accepts you as you are. Real love reminds you that you are worthy of kindness, consideration and adoration,” she wrote.

She then explained what real love is not.

Lastly, she said she is grateful to have rediscovered real love.
“Real love is NOT painful… EVER.
“Thank GOD, I’ve rediscovered REAL love,” she wrote.
Monyane and Skejana separated after four years of marriage. They have two children. Their last born, Amani-Amaza Wamazulu Skenjana, died in November 2017, seven days after her birth.
