Actor, designer and entrepreneur Masego “Maps” Maponyane, took to social media to share the hard news that he will be closing one of his ‘Buns Out’ branches.
Due to the lockdown, Maps has found it tough to keep his businesses operational with the alcohol restrictions under the level 4 lockdown.
“Unfortunately, having put back into level 4 lockdown and the restrictions that have been placed on us with regards to the sale of alcohol has made this journey ever tougher and insurmountable.”
The current conditions have just made it too challenging. We Tried. This isn’t the end of the road.❤ https://t.co/MArnpJHEVh

He will be focusing on his Linden and Norwood branches, both of which are trading normally.
Maps Maponyane opened the burger joint in Rosebank in September last year. The media personality has said the decision wasn’t an easy one to make but one that would ensure survival.
Sometimes you need to cut off a limb to to save the body. With a chance to survive and enough functionality, the body can still achieve great things.
