Financially burdened Mango airlines have suspended all flights across the country this morning.
Reports are that the airline has been grounded due to non-payment to Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), however, Mango airlines claim that they are unable to process clients due to a technical glitch.
Mango issued an apology to customers for the delays:
Dear Guests
Mango Airlines apologises for this morning’s flight interruptions and delays.
We are currently working on a solution and will be back at the counters and hope to clear the delays as soon possible.
We apologise in advance for the inconvenience caused.

The flight suspension comes days after a leaked internal staff memo revealed that the cash-strapped airline is to be grounded from 1 May.
All Mango flights at all ACSA airports have been affected.

Meanwhile, travel agencies have advised against booking flights via Mango, warning that flights might be affected until 1 May or until the airline receives the government funding.
