Major League DJz is teaming up with American artist, Doja Cat, on an amapiano song. The brothers announced the news on their Twitter page.
“Bringing a record home with Doja … Piano to the f***n world,” the duo wrote.
Doja Cat is one of the most in-demand female artists in the US at the moment. She has collaborated with musicians such as Cardi B, SZA, Ariana Grande, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Some of Doja Cat’s hits include, ‘Say So’, ‘Woman’, ‘Kiss Me More’ and ‘Get Into It’.

Doja Cat’s connection to South Africa
Doja Cat’s real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini. She is the daughter of Dumisani Dlamini, who played Crocodile on ‘Sarafina!’.
He also starred in ‘Yizo Yizo’.
“Some of my fans may not know this…I’m half South African, specifically from Durban, South Africa,” she tweeted in September.

Doja Cat, whose mother is a Jewish-American painter, has previously stated that she has never met her father. Despite their estranged relationship, Dumisani speaks fondly about her.
Doja Cat revealed in a 2019 interview that he often likes her Instagram pictures.
“I have never met him, and he’s on Instagram, and he comments on my pictures sometimes, maybe not anymore, but he did a few months ago. He’s an incredible dancer and a great actor, but yeah, I don’t know him very well,” she told Radio One D.C.
The 26-year-old says they tried to connect when she was a teenager.
“I wanted to see him and I don’t know what happened,” Doja Cat added. She is open to meeting her father in the future.
“Yeah, sure, why not? He’s probably still busy doing stuff,” she said.
Doja Cat is not the only international star Major League DJz is working with. The brothers introduced Diplo to amapiano. They have also hinted about a possible collaboration with Jorja Smith.
We can’t wait to see Bandile and Banele Mbere produce with the international stars.
