Zake Bantwini’s ‘Osama’ makes history
“Osama’ is one of the biggest songs of 2021, with many music lovers declaring it summer’s official anthem. The song is also making history.
According to RadioMonitor, it’s the first and only single to retain the top spot on SA radio charts for 10 weeks in a row.
Nandi was one of the first people to congratulate Zakes on the achievement.
“@Zakesbantwini in the history of South African music this has never been achieved! Wow! What a time to be alive and what a legacy. Shoutout @kasangomusic for your magic!” she wrote.
Zake’s ‘Summertime Sounds’ playlist is also up on Apple music. He listed his top songs for summer. Naturally, ‘Osama’ made the cut.
Other songs on the list include ‘Closer’ by Kasango, DJ Bongz’s ‘Lotto’, and DJ Sonic SA’s ‘Buya’ featuring Nana Atta & Skillz Musiq.
