On Saturday afternoon, friends, relatives, and fans gathered at Sebokeng’s Zone 14 Sports Centre to celebrate the life of late actor Luzuko Nteleko.
After a two-year struggle with brain cancer, the beloved actor died on June 21st.
Physical presence has been restricted in order for the family to guarantee compliance with COVID-19 rules. The service is was streamed live on YouTube and shown on Mpumalanga Broadcasting Television channel 504 in the evening.
As mourners pour into the venue, the stage was decorated with dozens of white floral arrangements. The family urged everyone to tune in and digitally celebrate Luzuko’s life with them.
Luzuko will be put to rest at his family’s home in the Eastern Cape on the 2nd of July 2021.
Actor had a long career as an actor and has featured in big local productions such as Zone 14, Muvhango, and Ring of Lies. The actor was loved by many for his fun personality, humour and his multilingualism that impressed many of his fans.
The star was fluent in Xhosa, Zulu, Sotho, Xitsonga and English.
