The Economic Freedom Fighters Students’ Command recently condemned the outrageous looting of One Hundred and Twenty-Three Million Rand (123M) from the National Skills Fund (NSF).
It has been alleged that these funds were disgracefully diverted to purchase luxury cars and a farm.
“This gross misuse of public funds represents a direct assault on the future of South Africa’s youth and the integrity of our educational and skills development systems.
“The National Skills Fund (NSF) is a crucial financial resource dedicated to the empowerment and development of South Africa’s workforce and skills base. Its primary objective is to provide funding for skills development initiatives that enhance the employability of our youth, reduce unemployment, and promote economic growth.”
Additionally, the statement from the EFFSC expressed disappointment that the individuals entrusted with the stewardship of these funds have “chosen to betray their duty and the trust of the nation by indulging in such flagrant corruption.”
