The Siz The World team recently posed a relatable question to listeners:
“Do you get offended when someone feels the need to warn you before taking your call?”
Mpho Maboi shared that she doesn’t take offence, in fact, she appreciates the heads-up.
“Sometimes people speak out of turn, so I actually do the same with others. First and foremost, I don’t know why you’re calling me, so I have to warn you, especially if I’m on speaker,” she explained. “If you’re going to speak out of turn, then you can check yourself.”
Sol Phenduka echoed her sentiments, saying he also doesn’t take offence.
“I have a road manager who’s kind of become my best friend because we talk about everything and everyone,” Sol said. “So I have a way of warning him when there are other people around, especially if I don’t want them to hear what we’re going to discuss.”
