In a recent Vantage Point survey conducted by esteemed African research company Bateleur Brand Planning, Kaya Biz dives deep into the evolving vocational aspirations of South Africans and their implications for the country’s future.
Gordon Hooper, MD of Bateleur says that “eight out of ten people people in South Africa are looking for alternative employment or for employment.”
Previous vocational dreams of becoming a doctor or a pilot have not been influenced by the internet.
Many aspire to be influencers, entrepreneurs professional sports players, game designers, or professional game players.
The Vantage Point survey sheds light on the evolving career aspirations of South Africans.
