It is in our nature to deliberately look for happy experiences, whether it be going on a trip, seeing an exciting action film, or getting a new outfit.
However, a great deal of happiness can often come from life’s small pleasures—the experiences, feelings, and things we accomplish daily, frequently without realizing it. It is quietly watching the sunset, finding a peaceful place to sit, and the aromatic smell of fresh rain.
Andy asked “Let’s talk about the simple things in life that we don’t really take the time out to enjoy. Life brings us small pleasures to enjoy. Like waking up alone and sleeping alone… what about taking a walk, we don’t appreciate the pleasure of that, just to take a walk down the park, taking in the view. Just to get out on your own in that environment. Having a meeting canceled, is one of the small pleasures of life. What do you absolutely love and savor, that people really underestimate?
