When faced with the unexpected challenge of her husband’s retrenchment during the difficult times of Covid, she stepped forward as the sole breadwinner, holding her family together with sheer grit and unwavering hard work.
A Foundation of Strength and Care
More than just a successful entrepreneur, Lungile embodies the spirit of a true matriarch.
Her dedication extends beyond her immediate family of five to include the loving care of her elderly grandparents, aged 93 and 81. Her daily routine is a remarkable display of her commitment, starting as early as 2 am to prepare for her catering gigs, followed by her demanding 9-to-5 job.

Lungile’s journey has not been without its challenges. She has faced setbacks, including the recent devastating experience of a break-in where all her essential equipment was stolen. Yet, in the face of such adversity, her spirit remains unbroken. Her catering business continues to flourish, a true reflection of her indomitable will and refusal to give up. She is an undeniable inspiration to everyone around her, demonstrating that challenges can be overcome with determination and a positive outlook.
