“Clutter is defined as a collection of things lying about in an untidy manner, anywhere. So… where is that space in your life for you?”
This week on Drive 959 with Glen, the team posed a relatable question: “What is that one nagging space in your life where you feel irritated or annoyed?”
Kgomotso shared her frustration over the ottoman in her bedroom, which becomes a dumping ground for clothes. “Everyone leaves their things there when they undress,” she explained. “Then it piles up, and you’re left thinking, ‘What is happening in my bedroom?!’”
She added, “And then there’s the kitchen cupboard full of mismatched lunch boxes. There’s so much clutter in there – it’s chaos!”
For Skhumba, the battleground is his wardrobe. “It’s only organised for two days,” he chuckled, “and then everything’s a mess again.”
Glen, meanwhile, confessed to struggling with car neatness.
“There are nearly fifteen bottles of water rolling around, empty containers, and random bottle caps,” he admitted. “In December, while travelling, I packed enough clothes to last a month. My weakness? I just don’t know how to fold things properly!”
