It’s normal for a relationship to reach its expiry date, however, nothing hurts like a relationship that just ends abruptly.
You will go through all the stages of grief but the fact that there is no closure makes it difficult completely move on.
You thought everything was all good until your partner dropped that bombshell.
The Best T in the City with Tbose wants to know if you’ve ever experienced a relationship that ended abruptly and how long did it take you to get over it.
A listener shares his experience.
We had what seemed like a good relationship and I tried my best for my woman. One day I just woke up and I found that she was gone, she left a letter on the sideboard. I tried to call her and she said she’ll talk to me when she comes back from work but we never got to speak again.
Till today I keep asking myself what did I do wrong. If I was wrong she was supposed to tell me. When I got back home my mother told me that it is not the end of the world.
It’s been 20 years now and I haven’t fully moved on.
