A listener shared that he and his girlfriend have been in an on-and-off relationship for a while. Recently, she told him that she was pregnant. The problem is that he’s not sure if he’s the father. He asked her to do a DNA test, but she thought it was unnecessary. He’s reaching out to other Best T in the City listeners to see if they can spot any red flags he might be missing.

In February, she told me that she was pregnant. I immediately told her that once the child is born, I will need to do a DNA test just so I can be 100% sure the child is mine. She said there was no need for DNA, as she was sure I was the father. I made it clear that there was no DNA or child support.
“She then ran to my mother and told her my decision. I am now. seen as the villain. My mother says I must not do a DNA test and that she and my aunts will be able to tell if the child is mine or

not. I know I will never fully believe the child is mine without tests. But my mom insists; she’s so mad at me that it is like I insulted her. It also made me wonder why my decision is triggering her so much. Am I my father’s ‘son? I can’t help but wonder. What else am I missing here?”
