A couple of weeks ago 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka spoke about some of the strongest passports in the world and the South African passport is the third best in Africa after the Seychelles and Mauritius.
This sparked this morning’s topic around the best and worst places to travel to, according to your personal experience.
Sol says he’d go back to England anytime. “When I was in England I wanted to stay there forever. Just everything works there man.”
He is also a fan of the gloomy weather.
For Dineo, Spain takes the cup. “I felt right at home, the only thing was the weather. I love how they work, their eating culture, and the way they socialize. I just felt at home there – it felt so easy to navigate,” she shares.
Nigeria was her worst experience. “Nigeria, from the airport I was asked to pay a bribe to get my luggage. The taxi experience was one of the worst I’ve ever had in my life. It was so uncomfortable,” she recollects.
