Jennifer Bala, the wife of South African musician Loyiso Bala recently took to social media for the first time in almost three weeks.
Bala shared a life update, explaining her absence by revealing that she had been battling bronchitis while also juggling her motherhood duties.
“Life lately: Been offline for a while; recovering from 2 weeks + of bronchitis, trying to entertain kids for the school holidays, counting down to Jody’s and my birthdays and just trying to slow down and be… Happy Sunday.”
Her followers flooded social media with well wishes for a speedy recovery.
Jojo Robinson rushed to hospital
Speaking about Jen’s health scar, Real Housewives of Durban’s Jojo Robinson recently had a health scare of her own.
“When you’re perfectly healthy the next minute, you find out your kidney was near failure, she recalled.
“Long story short, rushed to the emergency room at 1 am with excruciating pain, and found out I had a 1.6 cm kidney stone blocking my urethra, which ultimately had led to a backlog in my kidney where it had all turned to puss in the left kidney.”
Her doctor removed the large stone and placed a stint in the kidney to help save it.
The reality television star later found out that her kidney was a week or two away from failure. Luckily, this was discovered in time.
In two weeks, she’ll undergo another surgery.
