Mourning widow Babes Wodumo wants access to her late husband’s unreleased music.
This according to a report by Zimoja in which Babes reportedly demanded her late husband, Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo’s unreleased and recorded music from producer and DJ, Kabza da Small.
The Big Nuz member who died almost 2-years ago is said to have recorded 2 songs with Kabza before his passing.
According to the publication Babes is not happy about Kabza holding onto the music for so long and wants the songs released to her so she can release them under Mampintsha’s own label.
“That was more than two years ago, but he is still holding onto the music, haw kahle!
Either he releases the music or sends it to me, and I will release it under his label as his own. I don’t want the legacy of my husband to die just because people are holding onto his music.”
Other artists reportedly also have Mampintsha’s vocals on unreleased tracks, and Babes said she wants all her man’s music back because he son needs it.
Mampintsha died on 24 December 2022 after suffering a stroke. He was married to the Gqom artist Babes Wodumo with whom he shares a son.
