Renowned South African actor Clint Brink recently joined the growing number of celebrities who have undergone hair transplant surgery.
The former Backstage actor recently opened up about his healing process, revealing that it has been ‘incredible’ and that he is happy with the results.
“Okay so some time has passed & I’m really happy to share the healing process with you which has been incredible,” Brink shared on social media.
He also shared a few post-operative images. The actor jokingly added that he is looking forward to “growing that ponytail for my 50th birthday” once his hair has fully grown back.
Hair transplants have become increasingly common, with many celebrities opting for the procedure to address hair loss. Among the notable figures who have undergone hair transplants are Wayne Rooney and Ben Affleck.
Their public acknowledgement of the procedure has helped to destigmatise hair loss and encourage open conversations about hair restoration.
In 2022, musician Akon publicly acknowledged undergoing a hair transplant procedure. He revealed that he underwent the procedure in Turkey, citing the more affordable costs compared to the United States. Akon attributed his decision to the significant hair loss he experienced, particularly in the frontal region of his scalp.
