Looking at the tweets and voice notes this morning, many citizens are not happy with the local government and shared some of their frustrations.

Some Gauteng residents say service delivery remains problematic in various communities.
One caller said they would vote, but they prefered the local government to be won by other political parties and not ANC as they are relaxed and do not deliver on essential services of a municipality.
There have been calls by various political parties for a postponement in holding the elections due to covid19. However, the President says voting provides the basis for development and service delivery.
There are calls for political parties to come with a solution-based approach when campaigning for local government elections. Voters will be electing leadership and public representatives at the metropolitan, district and regional level.
