South African author, Jackie Phamotse excitedly announced that her book, Bare: The Blesser’s Games is getting adapted into a screenplay, and it is co-written by a writer that has worked on all South African hits on Netflix.
Sabelo Mgidi who co-wrote the screenplay with Phamotse has worked on both seasons of Kings Of Joburg, Silverton Siege, Yasuke: The Real Afro-Samurai, and is also the author of the novels “The Split of Gary Oliver and The Devil in the Detail.”
The much-talked-about book has garnered controversy after it was released.

The book shows the trauma and suffering young woman go through to maintain their lives. Be it supporting their families or supporting their need to be socially accepted on social media and among their peers. She revealed the dangers of living supported by a blesser.
