The result is a 27 track album with mixed reviews.
The Hollywood Reporter, The Daily Telegraph and NME each offer a few harsh words about the album.
“It’s hard to imagine what this record is supposed to be the soundtrack for. It’s not a party record. It doesn’t invite introspection. It’s not spiritual outside of literal references. It’s not really a radio record […] It’s disposable and forgettable, like so much of culture spat down to us during COVID,” Jonny Coleman from the Hollywood Reporter.
“Close to unassailable … besides those last four completely superfluous remixes,” Chris Willman from Variety.
Rhian Daly from NME described the album as a product that “perfectly encapsulates the man himself: ego-driven, brilliant, and utterly exhausting.”

Fans responded with mix reviews as well.
Some praised the album while others described it as average.
On a positive note DONDA did set a new record on Apple music with at least 60 million streams during its first 24 hours.
