Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema, has threatened to sue Sowetan Live over a story it published on Monday, 1 November.
A reporter from the publication claimed that Juju went to the polls wearing Versace jeans with the price tag still showing.
Not only did the politician deny the report, but he challenged the reporter to show the price tag.
He revealed that failure to do so will result in him suing the publication.
“You are lying. I challenge you to show the price tag, or I’m going to sue you,” he tweeted.
You are lying 🤥, I challenge you to show the price tag, or I’m going to sue you.

The publication has since removed the report and Tweet.
Many tweeps were divided over the report, with many saying what the politician wears has got nothing to do his role as a political leader.
See the Twitter reaction below.
What is he wearing has to do with elections, do you ask other parliamentarians the same question?
