When the going gets tough in your relationship, what do you do? Do you leave the man you love behind, or do you fight for him?
If this is the person that fills your heart with happiness and love, doesn’t he deserve to be fought for? Wouldn’t you want him/her to fight to keep you? If they’re worth spending your life with, he/she worth fighting for.
The saying goes, falling in love is easy, the hardwork is in staying in love.
Most couples start with a lot of nay-sayers around them. Either their friends and family do not endorse the relationship, or the external forces like alcoholism, infidelity and unemployment can make any relationship break.
The Best T In the City asked Kaya 959 listeners to share their experience when they chose to fight in a time when their relationship was in trouble, and it looked like divorce was inevitable.
The trauma I endured in that toxic marriage, doesn’t allow me to fight anymore.
Those people dealt with my mind, emotions and being!
It is by the grace of God, that I am still standing today. They went straight for my brains & not the heart anymore.#IFoughtForMyRelationship pic.twitter.com/haPhJ65KMW

Love conquers all
A few disagreements, petty jealousy, and compromising as a couple are all issues that can be worked through, but often make couples split. Unless it’s cheating or something even worse, you can work through it. Don’t give up.

Know when it’s over
There’s always a breaking point, when people in relationship have given up completely, when all they want is to be able to sleep well at night.

#IFoughtForMyRelationship, Bra T, I have really tried and unfortunately the fight was 1 sided. I did all I could and with all that I have but 3rd forces won and I had to take it with a pinch of salt. I am at peace now as I fought a good fight. @KayaON959 @KayaOnAir @tboseZA
