The Department of Social Development has launched bursaries and financial assistance for students in Gauteng.
This is to promote skills development and quality education. Students must excel academically and have a passion to pursue a career in the social sector.
The department will award bursaries to those wanting to study towards a qualification in Community Development, Financial Management and Demography.
Those who wish to study Population Studies, Clinical Psychology and Occupational Therapy may also apply.
Students must not be benefitting from any other bursary programme.
The bursary will cover registration, tuition, prescribed books and study material.
