An animated “Game of Thrones” series is reportedly in the very early development stages at HBO Max, an American subscription video-on -demand streaming service owned by AT&T which is a competitor to Netflix.

Very little is known about the focus of the potential series, who will voice the characters, and there are no writers or behind the scene talent currently attached to the project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, meetings with writers are already underway; however, no deals have been struck.
It will be interesting to see which character will come back to life, where the series will start, and whether it will be predictable like the first few seasons which we based on the books about the series.

House of the Dragon in the works
“Game of Thrones,” based on George R.R. Martin’s novels has become a global sensation and received 12 Emmy awards, including the top prize in the best drama series.

The show finished its HBO run in 2019, after 7 ground-breaking seasons, it was also the most pirated series in history.
HBO is currently working on a spinoff series called “House of the Dragon,” which will take place 300 years before the Game of Thrones events.
The series is scheduled to begin next year. It will be interesting to see more fire-spitting dragons.
