Actor Zolisa Xaluva opens up about the advice he received from late actor and director Shona Ferguson.
The Kings of Joburg actor says it’s at times like these that he missed Uncle Sho.
We do not know what has been on Zolisa’s mind lately, but he says the advice he got from Shona has come in handy:
“He would always say; “For each hater, you have 1000 people who love you. Embrace their love, throw away the hate.”
He thanks his loyal family, supporters, and friends” for their continuous support.
Shona Ferguson passed away on 30 July 2021 in Johannesburg aged 47. According to a statement shared by his family, Shona died from Covid-19 related complications.

Zolisa recently opened up on Mac G’s podcast about why she left Gomora.
He says part of the reason he chose to cut ties was that they deviated from the original story of his character
“We had conversations about what we were going to do for season 3 but ultimately we were like let’s park it for now until we can find a way where we can redeem the character for the future,” said Zolisa in art.
