Lasizwe Dambuza has confirmed that he has booked himseld into a mental health facility.
The South African YouTuber who recently reached 1 million subscribers revealed on Instagram that he will be stepping away from social media and other activities as he needs to take care of his mental health.
Since he is not permitted to use his phone within the institution, he also disclosed that his crew will handle his accounts and performances.
“I’ve successfully checked myself into a mental health wellness centre. It’s been a beautiful LONG year, TIME TO REST, RECHARGE and REFLECT. My team will be taking over my social media accounts after this post as the show has to go on (Awkward Dates and Social Media Campaigns) and they confiscate phones here. (Literally the nurse is standing next to me waiting for me to finish posting so she can take away my phone 😩)
“Also thank you to my siblings! Thank you for dropping me off here and holding my hand during the check in process! The Sweerie, Bo Makothi I’ll see you guys when I am out and REFRESHED! I love you!” wrote Lasizwe
