Kendrick Lemar recently paid tribute to Virgil Ablor at Paris Fashion Week
On Thursday (June 23), while watching Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2023 show from the front row at Paris Fashion Week,
Kendrick Lamar informally performed several songs from his most recent album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. He also used every opportunity to pay tribute to the late Virgil Abloh.
Abloh’s profound influence on street style and dared to break the barriers between high fashion and streetwear, his passing greatly shocked both the fashion and hip-hop sectors.

Virgil Abloh is highly beloved by Kendrick Lamar.
In February, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem also with Kendrick were part of a historic performance at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show.
After the revolutionary designer departed unexpectedly from cardiac angiosarcoma in November of last year, the 2022 collection Kendrick partially wore during that concert was developed to bring together the “themes and messages of the eight-season arc Virgil Abloh created for Louis Vuitton,”
