Vivian Reddy is alive and kicking and says he is disappointed with the number of news stories that have circulated about him in the past week.
The first news that the billionaire businessman had passed away was spread on YouTube, with a message coming from a TikTok account using his wife, Sorisha Naidoo’s name.
The high-profile couple dispelled the false narrative of his passing, with Sorisha also sharing a post of her husband’s “proof of life” this week.
Vivian said the numerous fake stories are the work of bored and sadistic individuals, and he shut down the rumours that he is dead by sharing a picture of himself and his reality star wife at the launch of her new business venture on Human Rights Day.
Apart from the fake news that he had died, Vivian Reddy confirmed that he would be taking legal action against a social media user for spreading a false story that he is the biggest funder of Jacob Zuma’s newly formed party uMkhonto weSizwe (MK Party).
“Disappointed by fake news spreading like wildfire.
Taking legal action to uphold truth and integrity. #NoRoomForFalsehood“
Last week Vivian Reddy offered R5 million to anyone who can prove he’s bribing ANC officials.
This was after the owner of KwaDukuza Mall was accused of bribing officials and said to be controlling the municipality’s purse strings.
Amongst the allegations against Vivian is that he is footing the legal bill of suspended KwaDukuza Municipality CFO, Shamir Rajcoomar.
