Former Generations star Sophie Ndaba, who has endured a challenging past few years, is expressing gratitude for the positive changes occurring in her life.
“I sometimes have to pinch myself in awe of God’s grace in my restoration,” expressed Ndaba, who highlighted that mental health challenges are real.
She offers counsel to those facing difficult times, urging them to surround themselves with positivity and supportive individuals.
“Whatever doesn’t serve you, walk away from it and save your mind, spirit, and soul from distress,” she said. “Learn to love yourself enough to say no to whatever doesn’t serve you. “Your mind is your house; protect it.”
In September of this year, Sophie Ndaba couldn’t hold back her tears while describing her relationship with her kids on Metro.
Over the years, Ndaba has been vocal about battling a chronic illness and surviving an abusive relationship. During the recent sit-down, the actress advised parents to listen to their children and love them. “They are so precious,” she professed, speaking about her relationship with her kids.
“My kids saved my life. Besides God and my friends, it’s my kids. Obviously, Lwandle was with me in my midnight hours. If that child could bathe me, he would have bathed me.”
Ndaba explained that the conversation about her relationship with her children moved her because parents tend to ignore their kids. “Parents, pay attention to your children. They will save your life one day. I am telling you, I am living proof today,” she counselled, standing as a testament to how the support of one’s offspring can serve as strength to persevere.
