Berita may be booked and busy but her estranged husband Nota Baloyi is out there telling people not to hire the Afro Soul singer to perform at their weddings.
Gugulethu Khumalo, better known by her stage name, Berita shared her back to back gigs for the next three months over the weekend.
Nota wasted no time in jumping on to tell people that booking his wife to perform at their weddings is a bad omen.
“Some booked my wife to perform at their wedding today, imagine cursing your marriage by having a wedding singer who can’t respect her own marriage. A singer who uses the songs her husband wrote with her to mislead gullible fans into believing she’s sweet but her actions are evil at heart!”
Nota said he’s close to serving Berita with legal claims to the songs her wrote which she is performing without his permission.
“The day I get lawyers to prevent my wife from performing the songs I wrote, she’ll stop thinking I’m playing. I’m quarter to right now. I didn’t get her those masters back so she could use them against me. She must count herself lucky, I’ve been so patient, I knew I’d regret saving her.”
The couple who reportedly separated in January have been embattled in ongoing social media wars with Nota picking apart Berita’s every move.
His handling of their separation has been deeply criticised with many fans of the pair pleading with him to heal and remain single until he has.
“I happen to like you both, so people are not allowed to book Berita at their wedding because your own marriage didn’t work out? That’s childish to say. Let the woman be my guy.”

The controversial music executive went on to say that the reason Berita dumped him is because he told her to stop being a burden on him.
“I was dumped for telling to go find her feet and stop being a burden on me.”
