South African celebrity painter Rasta whose real name is Lebani Sirenje, is seeking donations to attend the late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service.
The death of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, who passed away at her home in Scotland, was confirmed by Buckingham Palace on Thursday, September 8.

Rasta The Artist, is a painter who was born in Zimbabwe and is now based in South Africa.
His contentious paintings, particularly those of deceased celebrities, are well known by many South Africans.
He has painted several of the most well-known figures in the nation, including President Cyril Ramaphosa, Siya Kolisi (Captain of the Springboks), Vuyo Mbuli, Winnie Mandela, as well as former Miss Zozibini Tunzi.

Rasta, unveiled a portrait of the queen shortly after she passed away.
He took to his official Twitter account to seek financial assistance to be present at the Queen’s funeral service and wishes to present the portrait to her family in London.
He wrote “Let’s donate for his flight to go paint at the funeral service in London at her rest place”
